Fun fact I learned this week: Mangroves follow the 18-year lunar cycle. Also, there’s an 18-year lunar cycle?! For some reason, this fact just made me feel so happy. Everything is connected and we’re just starting to relearn that.
Best moment outside: I have a new house, and this summer I have taken the approach of “wait and see what grows”. We have two stonecrop plants that I’ve been watching all year, waiting to think they look nice. I had just decided to get rid of them next year, when I suddenly saw that the bees were sleeping on the flowers!
